For Dr. Malory Peterson, returning to the Rochester area is much more than a new professional chapter; it’s a true homecoming. As a St. Charles, MN native, Dr. Peterson’s approach to dentistry is rooted in the same community values that she grew up with: kindness, connection, and a genuine heart for service.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Winona State University, Dr. Peterson gained foundational experience working alongside dentists and oral surgeons right here in Rochester and Pine Island. This time spent in local clinics before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota allowed her to develop a gentle, patient-first philosophy. While she was honored during her studies with awards for leadership and radiology excellence, she finds her greatest fulfillment in helping a nervous patient feel at ease and confident in their care.
Dr. Peterson loves all aspects of general dentistry, but she is especially passionate about the lifelong relationships she builds with those in her chair. Her goal is always to provide individualized, comfortable care that helps every patient achieve a healthy smile.
Outside the office, life is all about family. Dr. Peterson and her husband, Lucas, are kept busy with their two little ones, Creighton and Cora, and their yellow lab, Nash. You’ll usually find them hunting, fishing, golfing, or making memories at the lake. Dr. Peterson is honored to be back in the community and truly looks forward to building a lasting relationship with your family at Northwest Dental Group.
