
Dr. Ashly Matzek, DMD

About
Ashly was born and raised in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. She attended Eastern Michigan University, where she graduated magna cum laude and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. During her time at EMU, Ashly was a member of the Women’s Rowing team, where she received recognition on the Colonial Athletic Association’s Academic Honor Roll and earned the Collegiate Rowing Coach’s Association Scholar Athlete award.
Ashly earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. During her time at Tufts, Ashly enjoyed sharing her knowledge with the students in classes under her classes. She had the opportunity to become a Teaching Assistant for multiple courses, from restorative dentistry to prosthodontics. She also served as a member of the executive board of the Tufts chapter of the American Association of Women Dentists for four years. Ashly was on the Dean’s list multiple years during her dental education, and was chosen to participate in the Nitrous Oxide selective course.
Outside of dentistry, Ashly enjoys spending her time playing softball, running, crocheting, and playing piano.
